Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye has arrived in France for a medical with Paris Saint-Germain.
The Senegal international was pictured in Paris on Sunday after the Toffees agreed a deal worth £28.7million with the French champions.
Gueye is now expected to complete his dream switch to the Parc des Princes imminently by signing a four-year contract.
PSG tried to sign the tough-tackling midfielder in January, but despite Gueye’s transfer request, Everton rejected a £21.5million bid.
Marco Silva was hopeful Gueye might be persuaded to stay at Goodison Park, but the 29-year-old has remained determined to force the move through.
He issued a ‘come and get me’ plea to the French club in February and begged them to renew their interest this summer.
Gueye told L’Equipe: “I was honoured that PSG were interested in me. Now, I know that I am of interest to these types of clubs, I am ready to go to the final level to join a top European club.

“I am going to work even more so that they come back to me. Maybe it is not finished with PSG.”
Everton have readied themselves for the departure of Gueye by signing Andre Gomes from Barcelona for £22.5million and Fabien Delph from Manchester City for £8.5million.
Nonetheless, Gueye will be sorely missed following three incredible seasons on Merseyside.
No player has completed more tackles in the Premier League during his time at Everton.
