DOWNERS GROVE, IL — More than 50 artists will showcase paintings, photography, artisanal jewelry and other works during the 47th annual Downers Grove Fine Arts Festival Sept. 7 and Sept. 8. The two-day art event will also feature live music by local artists, face painting, balloon twisting and other family-friendly activities.
Here’s a list of the 52 artists who will be on hand at the festival.

“We have a great variety of artists from all over,” Downtown Downers Grove Executive Director Erin Venezia told Patch. “From right here in Downers Grove to a couple artists from Florida.”
Each day will feature live performances. The schedule is as follows.
Saturday
10:15 a.m.: Briley, a District 99 student
12 p.m.: Keithen Banks
2:15 p.m.: Scott Allen
4 p.m.: Molly Rose Trio
Sunday
10:30 a.m.: Luca Ruiz, a District 58 student
12 p.m.: Lee Murdock
2:30 p.m.: The Kelltones
Visitors can stop by Smile Downers Grove, 5149 Main St., on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to enjoy face painting, balloon twisting and other family-friendly activities. A children’s activity booth will also be available at Indian Boundary YMCA during both days of the festival.
