Ravel Morrison is looking for his ninth club in seven years after his contract with Ostersunds expired.
Morrison joined the Swedish side shortly after Valentine’s Day, but the relationship failed to blossom and he will leave after the expiration of his contract on June 30.
He took to Twitter to clarify his situation, saying: “My contract with Ostersunds has finished. I have not walked out so don’t listen to all the lies that come from these desperate people that will try make a story from anything.
“I’ve stayed away from all this negative & bad press for years Leave me alone please.”

A club representative of Ostersunds told SVT Sport: ‘We have no contact with him anymore, he packed up his things when it was summer vacation and nothing speaks for him coming back.’
‘He has been injured a lot, which has been difficult for the club and for himself. He couldn’t do himself justice.’
The 26-year-old was once tipped to be the next big thing out of the Manchester United academy, but off-field indiscretions halted his rise.
A move to West Ham United in 2012 and the chance to work with Sam Allardyce came next for the midfielder, but he moved on after three years.
During his time at West Ham, the Englishman had very brief loan stints at Birmingham, Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff, before he eventually signed for Lazio.
Sir Alex Ferguson once described the midfielder as ‘the best kid you will ever see’, even telling Rio Ferdinand, Wayne Rooney and Ryan Giggs the youngster would usurp them.
