ELLICOTT CITY, MD — With a vested interest in the future success of Howard County kids, Margaret Kim started Higher Ed Prep, LLC in Ellicott City six years ago.
“I wanted to help students and parents navigate the sometimes challenging college application process,” Kim told Patch.
To help students get started, Kim offers a complimentary 30 minute consultation. She and her staff works with students locally, across the country and even around the world.
“Students and parents have appreciated the expertise and assistance they received in applying to colleges and graduate schools for admission and merit scholarships,” Kim said.
Kim was chosen as one of the 2024 Maryland’s Top 100 Women by The Daily Record and is a longtime community volunteer, advocate and mentor to high school students, and a mentor to human trafficking survivors.
