It has been rumored all year that Ronda Rousey, Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir, and Shayna Baszler (collectively known as the Four Horsewomen of MMA) were all set to join WWE join in 2018 for a match at some point against Bayley, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, this match is not in the plans at all. In fact, Duke and Shafir reportedly haven’t even received wrestling training of any kind. As far as Ronda Rousey is concerned, the report mentions that her training is actually going rather smoothly at the moment, and her involvement in WWE in 2018 is considered to be “a lock”.
Bret Hart’s health has not been at its best in quite some time. Hart already suffered a stroke back in 2002 that left him partially paralyzed. While Hart did recover from the stroke, he announced a few months ago that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Fortunately, “The Hitman” confirmed in Blooms Magazine that he is now 100% cancer-free. Hart told the publication. “you know, it’s so critical for me to stress … that it’s just a blood test,” Hart said as he urged men to get screened for prostate cancer. You gotta go in and get a blood test. If you’re a man over 40, you need to go in.” Hart says that detecting the disease early is what helped doctors removes the cancer early. “If you’ve got prostate cancer, if you don’t catch it early, you could die from it. And if you catch it early, you can live a pretty normal life. I would say I’m pretty close to normal.” Hart said.
Cody Rhodes confirmed not too long ago that he has ambitiously planning an independent wrestling event in 2018 in a venue that can hold at least 10,000 people. Along with Matt and Nick Jackson of the Young Bucks, Cody believes that he will be able to pull off the large undertaking at some point next year. Rhodes has been referring to the event under the title ‘All In’ and he will reportedly be partnering up with Ring of Honor once the show is announced. According to Cageside Seats, the self-funded event from Rhodes will be taking place in Chicago, Illinois. A date for the show still has yet to be reported or confirmed at the moment.
