Yesterday IMPACT Wrestling secured the signing of a brand new talent, adding 13-year Canadian veteran “Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander to the roster
Impact’s EVP Scott D’Amore, a fellow Canadian, turned up at Saturday night’s Destiny Wrestling and Blackcraft Wrestling event in Mississauga, Ontario to announce that he had officially signed Alexander to a three-year contract, which will allow him to return to the United States.
Alexander is no stranger to the U.S. wrestling scene, having worked previously for Ring of Honor, Impact Wrestling, CHIKARA, Evolve, and was a fixture for Chicago independent AAW for many years. Unfortunately, his U.S. work visa was denied last year at arguably the height of his rise, and he has been unable to return since late 2017.
It’s confirmed – Josh Alexander is NOT the best unsigned talent in the world. Scott Damore just offered The Walking Weapon a 3 year contract with @impactwrestling . congrats Josh we are extremely proud of you and you definitely deserve this!
