Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, the unique bridal event consisting of
and a professional trade fair,
closed the doors of its 26th edition on Sunday, following six days of

Organisers estimate that over 18,000 people visited BBFW this year, a
12 percent increase from 2015. In total, 260 exhibitors attended the trade
fair this seas – a 13 percent increase compared to last year’s
participants.
The trade show attracted even more international visitors this season
as well, 58 percent of attendees came from aboard, a 8 percent increase on
2015. In addition, 650 key buyers attend the event – which is more than
double the number from 2015 – hailing from 40 countries. The majority of
the buyers hailed from the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom,
France and Italy – countries which are considered to be key this year in
the internationalisation strategy.
