When it comes to fashion and following the latest trends, children are
rapidly gaining the upperhand on their adult counterparts. Thanks to these
stylish little ones and their demand for contemporary grown up styles, the
children’s wear market has seen a huge boom, according to the latest data
from retail analysis company EDITED.
The rise of the Mini Me trend has led to an increase in both children’s
wear products and prices, with the average price within the UK children’s
wear market jumping 28.6 percent over the last three months to 49 pounds.
However, in spite of the increase in price, the children’s wear market
continues to grow, increasing 2 percent at the 20 largest children’s wear
retailer between April 15 to July 15, 2016.
Below, EDITED has listed some of the key facts concerning trends, prices
and products within the children’s wear market in an infographic.
