Following another incredible NXT Takeover event this Saturday night in Los Angeles, many fans expressed concern over the health of Undisputed Era member Bobby Fish, who was reportedly helped to the back after a brutal WarGames main event.
During a conference call with members of the media, Triple H gave an update on Fish’s condition, thankfully confirming that he was just fine despite taking some serious damage in the match.
“[Bobby] came back just fine. He had a moment in the ring — when you’ve had something surgically repaired, the first moment you take a big shot to that surgically repaired thing. there’s a moment where you’re like, ‘Oh my god I did it again!’ And then you realize you’re good. I think it happened to it in the match. He was fine.”
In addition, Triple H confirmed that Pete Dunne had taken the last few weeks off because he broke a small bone in his foot. He was originally working on the foot while injured, which potentially made it worse, and the doctors ordered that he take a few weeks off to allow it to heal up properly.
