Over the years, the amount of times WWE does a complete 180-degree turn with Big Show has become something of an inside joke among wrestling fans, but this latest change of plans may be the quickest about-face we’ve seen yet.

Big Show made his return from injury last month at the 1000th episode of Smackdown Live, surprising everyone by putting Kofi Kingston through the commentary table and aligning himself with Cesaro and Sheamus.

It’s only been six weeks, but the strange pairing has apparently run its course already, because WWE ran an angle prior to this week’s Smackdown Live that saw an angry Big Show knock out Cesaro during a backstage altercation, effectively ending their partnership.

To make matters worse for the blue brand’s tag team champions, The Bar suffered a loss to The Usos tonight, which may potentially set up a title match between the two teams at next month’s WWE TLC pay-per-view.
