Khloé Kardashian is feeling extra thankful this year.
Ahead of Thanksgiving, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star — who is expecting her first child, a baby boy, with boyfriend Tristan Thompson early next year — took to her website and app to share some of the things she’s grateful for.
“Believe me, I know how truly blessed I am,” said Kardashian, 33. “I thank God every day for this life. It’s important to remember your blessings all year long, but Thanksgiving is a good time to take a moment and be appreciative.”
Of course, it comes as no surprise that 26-year-old Thompson is top of the list.
“I am truly grateful for Tristan and all that he has brought into my life!” she gushed of the Cleveland Cavaliers player, whom she’s been dating for over a year.
“He has been a huge positive influence on me and has given me a new level of happiness and love,” she added.

The reality star also touched on her faith in God — “I cannot tell you how much this centers me and keeps me sane throughout my life … all that I have, I give THANKS to God” — and her ability to learn from her mistakes.
“There are two types of people in this world: those who can become broken by hardships and others who come out to be stronger than ever,” she said. “The mistakes I’ve made and the failures I’ve faced in my past have given me the best lessons of life. For sure I am not the best, but I am a better person than I was yesterday. Without my past, I wouldn’t be what I am today. I love me today!”
Last but not least, Kardashian said she’s grateful to have access to the “basic necessities of life.”
“For sure, this tops the list,” she said. “Most people will forget to mention this if they listed their ‘Top 50 Best Things of Life’ because we are blessed and very much used to it. Food and shelter are quite obvious to some, but unfortunately they’re not a reality for many.”

“It’s important to remind ourselves that we must be thankful for what we DO have and stop complaining about what we DON’T,” she continued. “Stop comparing our lives to others. Stop comparing our worlds to pictures we see on social media. No matter where you are in your life — financially or physically — I truly believe there’s always something that you can be thankful for.”

Last week, Kardashian gave fans a sneak peek at what’s on the menu for Thanksgiving this year, which she will host for the second time in a row in Cleveland.
“I usually host Thanksgiving every year, but my sisters and my mom would bring a few dishes to help me out in the kitchen,” she said. “But now being in Cleveland, I have to do everything on my own.”
In addition to the traditional turkey, stuffing, gravy and cornbread, Kardashian will be whipping up sweet potato soufflé, wings, sweet creamed corn, greens with smoked turkey, and mac and cheese. Desserts will include apple pie, pumpkin pie, cinnamon buns and cookies.
“Last year was the first time I did it completely on my own and I was really proud of myself for accomplishing it all,” she said. “I did it! And seeing everybody go back for seconds made me even happier! It lets you know they really like the food.”
“I love it and I’m really looking forward to doing it again this year,” she added. “I hope you all have a beautiful day with the ones you love!”
