Business tycoon Ness Wadia, heir to the Wadia Group and co-owner of Kings XI Punjab has been sentenced to a two-year jail term in Japan over possession of drugs.
The Financial Times, quoting Japan’s national broadcaster NHK reported that Wadia was arrested in March at New Chitose Airport in the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido while on a holiday after he was caught with about 25g of cannabis resin in his trouser pocket.
