Brock Lesnar managed to retain his Universal Championship over Roman Reigns in a controversial fashion during his Steel Cage match against Roman Reigns at the Greatest Royal Rumble as Reigns and Lesnar both left the cage at the same time, but Reigns’ feet clearly hit the ground first. There had been reports stating that Lesnar would be competing again at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view next month, but that is apparently not the case. On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that Lesnar won’t be competing at Money in the Bank. There is no word on when Lesnar will be wrestling again, but Meltzer believes it will either be during July’s Extreme Rules show or at SummerSlam in August.
Nikki Bella and John Cena decided to call off their wedding and split up after spending six years together a few weeks back. As a result of the split, Nikki Bella has officially moved out of Cena’s home. Nikki Bella hadn’t posted a video on the official YouTube channel for the Bella Twins since the split was announced, but she just recently posted a brand new video on the channel, and during the video, she revealed that she is currently living with her sister Brie, and her brother-in-law Daniel Bryan. Bella and Cena’s relationship has been documented nearly from the start on episodes of Total Divas, but the upcoming season of Total Bellas will provide a look at the downfall of the relationship.
It’s been a while since John Morrison has competed in a WWE ring, but he has certainly managed to keep himself busy ever since he left the company. Morrison has made a huge name for himself on the independent wrestling circuit. He currently competes as Johnny Mundo in Lucha Underground, and he has also been fighting in Impact Wrestling under the name Johnny Impact. It looks like Morrison will now be involved in a project outside of professional wrestling. According to Inside Survivor, Morrison will be a cast member on the upcoming 37th season of the Survivor reality series. Morrison has yet to confirm these reports at the moment. Season 37 of Survivor premieres in the fall of this year.
