London department store, Liberty is gearing up for new collaborations and
the relaunch of the company website.
The 140 year old store is in talks with brands including Coca Cola and
Disney for possible future partnerships in order to expand global
recognition. In addition there are also plans for a new international
website to launch in February, which is expected to underpin the retailer’s
plans for an IPO in 2018.
Liberty have also reignited their wholesale business after a six year
hiatus with their range of scarves, bags and small leather goods being
stocked by the likes of Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales and Nordstrom in the
US and Isetan in Japan for AW15.
The department store is housed in an iconic tudor building in London’s west
end, and could soon find a way to utilise its roof terrace for a new sales
area or food project in 2017.
