This week London Fashion Week will see its 63rd outing and make its second
appearance at the Brewer Street Car Park in Soho. The packed schedule will
see over 80 designers show their autumn winter 2016 collections, with
highlights including the return of Alexander McQueen, Mulberry’s first show
under new creative director Johnny Coca, and Belgian designer A.F.
Vandervorst joining LFW for the first time.
London Fashion Week contributes 26 billion pounds directly to the UK
economy, according to Oxford Economics, and British womenswear is worth 27
billions pounds, up 23 percent from 2015 according to Mintel. The fashion
industry employs nearly 800,000 people, making it one of the UK’s most
important economic industries.

screens in a collaboration with Ocean Outdoor (on screens today)
