Manchester United’s draw at Southampton on Saturday was so disappointing it reduced a lifelong fan to tears…
United have stuttered at the start of the season and have failed to win since their 4-0 drubbing of Chelsea in the opening weekend.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side drew 1-1 to the ten-man Saints just a week after losing to Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.
Dropping more points caused Red Devils fan, who is named Mickey, to break down as he spoke to Peaky Pundit after the game.
He praised Aaron Wan-Bissaka when asked for his man-of-the-match.
Mickey said: “That right-back is something different. That Aaron he’s brilliant… he wins that ball so much…”
But the emotion got too much and the presenter asked why he was getting so upset.
He said: “Because we’ve dropped two points again today.”
And he said that their failure to win hurts as the presenter then said: “This is how much it means to my boy Mickey here.”
Despite the tears from the United fan, they only dropped down to seventh after the first four games of the season.
The Red Devils’ next game is at home to Leicester after the international break.
