Swansea star Daniel James will leave the Wales camp to undergo a medical at Manchester United today.
The 21-year-old winger has been preparing for his nation’s Euro 2020 qualification double-header against Croatia and Hungary, but has been allowed to break away from Ryan Giggs’ squad, who are training near Chester.

United and Swansea have been negotiating a deal worth £15million for James, who caught the eye in the Championship last season and he is likely to become Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first signing at Old Trafford.
James was handed his first-team debut by Carlos Carvalhal 62 minutes into Swansea’s 8-1 FA Cup fourth-round replay against Notts County in February 2018 and scored a memorable goal.
Since then he has gone from strength to strength and established himself as a match-winner for both club and country.
Giggs’ team go into their match against World Cup finalists Croatia on the back of James’ goal giving them a winning start against Slovakia in Group E.
Giggs, a United legend recently admitted he was prepared for transfer activity to disrupt his team’s preparations.
“Sometimes you can’t stop it, but all I can do is put in the players’ minds how important these games are,” Giggs said.
James had come close to signing for Leeds in the January transfer window before a deal collapsed, giving Premier League clubs an opportunity to sign the EFL’s hottest property.
Signed from Hull’s academy in 2014 for £72,000, he followed in the footsteps of Joe Allen and Ben Davies by going from the youth set up to first team player and it was under Graham Potter where he made his Championship bow, against Birmingham in August 2018.
