German fashion and lifestyle brand Marc Cain is launching a fitness
collection for spring/summer 2017 to embrace the “sportivity trend” that it
states is “taking hold in the world of fashion”.
The Marc Cain Fitwear capsule collection was introduced during Panorama
Berlin and aims to offer women a fitness collection of clothing that
doesn’t comprise on style, while also catering to their individual
fashions.
The German fashion brand has created five key sportswear looks, from the
fashionista, who is expressive and sophisticated and likes yoga, to the
Marc Cain woman who has a rebel streak and likes boxing, and the classic
woman who likes essentials to work out while spinning. There’s also the
easy-going woman, who favours a casual and uncomplicated style, and the
passionate, who would work out in high heels if she could.
Each has different approaches to working out Marc Cain states and that’s
why their varied capsule collection that combines functionality, style and
convenience aims to appeal to them all. The line comprises of coordinating
sports items such as shorts, leggings, sports bras, tops and jackets, in
bold animal and petal prints.
The range was launched at last month’s Panorama Berlin, where a
“Fitroom” was installed as a centrepiece of the stand, creating an
immersive display of the new addition to the brand’s product portfolio,
featuring yoga, aerobics, spinning, mini trampolines, and ballet.
