London – Supermodel and mother, Jourdan Dunn, has teamed up with British
department store group Marks & Spencer for the launch of her debut
children’s wear collection
The collection, named Lil’ LonDunn by Jourdan Dunn, is said to celebrate
the model’s love for her hometown London, which served as a point of
inspiration as well as her relationship with her six year old son, Riley,
who acted as both the model and point of inspiration for the collection.
Lil’ LonDunn is set to be the second capsule collection launch of a new
series developed by the high street department store group, known as which will feature unique and exclusive

Although the collection was inspired by her son, the range has been
designed for both boys and girls ages 5 to 16 and consists of 22 items
described as “urban” and “upbeat”. Dunn is said to have been very involved
with the collection development from the start, overseeing the fabric
selection, garment fit as well as the creative direction of the
collection’s campaign.“I’ve been a big fan of M&S since I was young and have fond memories
visiting our local store with my mum as a kid,” said Dunn in a statement.
“My collection is inspired by London and has the cool, urban vibe that I
look for when choosing clothes for Riley. It’s been an absolute pleasure to
work on this project with such a big British retailer, and I can’t wait to
see the clothes on Riley and all his friends.”The collection announcement comes a week after tv presenter and style icon
Alexa Chung revealed news of her upcoming collection for M&S, Archive By
Alexa, and is also slated to launch this April. “We are thrilled to be
working with Jourdan on her first children swear range and she has been
really passionate about the project every step of the way,” added Stephanie
Chen, Trading Director children’s wear and home at Marks & Spencer.“Using her unique insight as both an iconic British model and working
mother, Jourdan has carefully designed the style, colour palette and look &
feel of the clothing and campaign.”
