Online fashion platform Mastered is launching its first-ever streetwear course, which will be curated by creative director and designer Virgil Abloh, and will feature mentors including Fraser Cooke, Jörg Haas, Rob Jest and Eric Elms.
The four-month online course will begin in April and will focus on design, branding, product, business skills and sales with the aim of equipping entrepreneurs, streetwear savvy individuals or ambitious commercially active brands with the skills they need to get ahead.
Each week the course syllabus will select a group of influential industry experts to reveal their processes and insights on pushing your brand forward, producing better product, gaining a deeper understanding of the market, making the most of your brand, and increasing sales of even the most underground of brands.
The course also includes access to key buyers and editors across the globe, industry insider feedback, a continuous stream of insider insights on video, special access to real opportunities with brands, stores and the media. And access to a forum with others on your course to promote cross-creativity, new ideas, and provide support and peer feedback.
The Streetwear: Mastered course, which is currently accepting applicants, comes in response to the explosive growth of streetwear that it claims has changed fashion, menswear and culture forever.
Costing over 1,600 pounds, the four-month streetwear concept course is aimed at “ambitious commercially active brands” who are looking to create products of unimpeachable credibility, to collaborate with the best brands in the game, and to develop a lucrative online and bricks and mortar distribution strategy.
