New Japan Pro Wrestling has become the latest wrestling company to expand to India as they have signed a television deal with DSports.
Discovery Communications announced the deal today, with New Japan set to appear on their new channel, which only launched earlier this year.

This will now bring New Japan an estimated 70 million new viewers, a figure which is similar to the potential Impact Wrestling US market of 75 million, making it a huge deal for the company.
Impact themselves have recently taped episodes of their weekly show whilst in India earlier in the year and WWE has focused on India too, especially with Jinder Mahal’s push.
