Newcastle have got into the Christmas spirit early this year by offering season ticket holders a free additional half-season ticket.
If you are already in possession of a season ticket at St James’ Park, you can nominate a fellow supporter for the free ticket which will be available on a first-come first-served basis from Tuesday.
The ticket will cover 10 home Premier League matches, beginning with the visit of Everton to Tyneside on December 28.
The move is designed to increase the club’s home attendance with only 42,303 people watching Newcastle’s 2-1 win over Southampton on Sunday – St James’ Park lowest crowd since November 2010.
Toon boss Steve Bruce believes the ticket offer can help boost his side’s performances on the pitch even more.
“To have the crowds we have is wonderful and we can’t ever take that for granted,” said Bruce.

“But the question to all of us at the club is can we pack the stadium to the rafters?
“It starts with results on the pitch, but I hope a gesture like this will help us to fill the place because St James’ Park in full voice is a force to be reckoned with.”
Newcastle are currently 11th in the Premier League, having not lost in their past three matches. Bruce’s side have beaten Southampton and Brighton and drawn with reigning champions Manchester City during that run.
Next up, on Saturday, is a trip to Burnley, before Crystal Palace visit St James’ Park four days before Christmas. Manchester United host the Magpies on Boxing Day before the Everton clash two days later sees the start of the free half-season ticket offer.
