PAC, who used to compete in WWE as Neville, returned to Dragon Gate just a few months ago after spending over a year out of the ring. PAC has continued to impress fans ever since he came back to Dragon Gate, and his hard work has already paid off tremendously. PAC defeated Masato Yoshino to win the Open the Dream Gate Championship during a recent Dragon Gate event in Korakuen Hall. This is PAC’s first championship victory since his run in WWE came to an end late last year. The former Cruiserweight Champion has been announced for huge matches against the likes of Zack Sabre Jr. and Will Ospreay in 2019, so it looks like the British high-flyer new champion has got a bright future ahead of himself.

Matt Hardy announced earlier this year that he had plans to step away from the ring due to complications from the injuries that he has sustained throughout his wrestling career. However, Hardy got some fans talking a few weeks ago when he suggested working as the General Manager for WWE’s Raw brand. Since then, Hardy has made it clear that he doe indeed have plans to come back to the ring in the near future. While speaking to Sportskeeda, Hardy insisted that he was just given some time off by WWE to heal up from his injuries. Matt Hardy does not intend on ending his career now, and he is promising to be back very soon. Jeff Hardy, Matt’s brother, is still working on the SmackDown brand full time for WWE.
“No, it’s not. I took time off to heal
some nagging injuries and I’ll be back sooner rather than later. So,
I’ve been doing this twenty-six years. I was just a little beat up. I
was given a little time off.” Matt said.
One of the most unexpected and heartbreaking moments in the wrestling industry from this year came when Roman Reigns shockingly announced that his leukemia had returned just a couple of weeks ago. Reigns relinquished the Universal Championship but vowed to defeat his illness and come back stronger than ever. Roman has mostly kept a low profile since then, but “The Big Dog” is set to make his first WWE appearance since the huge announcement. PWInsider reports that Roman is in Fort Hood, Texas right now to take part in the Tribute to the Troops festivities. There is currently no word on whether or not Roman Reigns will be on the show or if footage of Reigns will be included in the broadcast.
