QPR youngster Ilias Chair has agreed a three-year contract extension at the Championship side, talkSPORT understands.
Talks with Chair’s representatives and club hierarchy have progressed well over the last month, with the final touches to the deal set to be finalised next week.
The Morocco Under-23 international, whose current deal was due to expire in the summer of 2020, joined the Hoops in January 2017 after impressing on trial.
Chair, 21, who excelled for Stevenage during a loan spell last season, has made seven appearances in all competitions for Mark Warburton’s men so far in 2019/20.
Elsewhere, QPR are also in talks with Bright Oyasi-Samuel over extending his stay in west London.
Rangers have a one-year option clause activated in Oyasi-Samuel’s current contract, but want to tie him down to an new long-term deal.
The 21-year-old winger, who joined the club from Blackpool two years ago, has indicated he is happy to commit his future to the club.
