Real Madrid are reportedly tracking Newcastle midfielder Miguel Almiron ahead of a potential bid for the Paraguayan.
Almiron became the Magpies’ record signing when he joined for £21m from Atlanta United in January.
And according to TyC Sports, Madrid are keeping a keen eye on the playmaker, who is performing well at the Copa America.
Almiron, who plays as an attacking midfielder, looked the real deal at St James’ Park since his switch from the MLS despite not registering a goal in his 10 appearances.

The 25-year-old has continued his good form into the Copa America, where he has provided an assist in each of the two games he has played for Paraguay so far.
His second assist. against Argentina, came about from a phenomenal run and it led to dozens of Newcastle fans on social media to claim he outshone Lionel Messi in the match.
Real are currently revamping their squad after enduring a difficult season.
