Renee Young recently caught up with WWE star Ronda Rousey while Rousey was doing promotional work for her new movie “Mille 22”, and below is what Rousey had to say on the similarities between WWE and movie combat:

“There’s some skills that spill over because in WWE I spent as much time studying for this role as I would preparing for a fight, but I really wanted to fight Iko [Uwais], to be honest, I mean I think that our two fighting styles would just look so amazing juxtaposed against each other.”

Co-star Mark Wahlberg also had the following to say when asked why WWE fans will like the new movie:

“The WWE Universe would love “Mile 22″ because it is non-stop, kickass, full-on, it’s everything you could want or expect in a movie. And then the twist and surprise that this movie has is going to…this is actually the second time I got to work with Ronda, and in this, she really gets to show her dramatic ability.”
