After failing to appear at a scheduled IPW: UK show that he had been booked for, the promotion stated that former WWE star Sean Waltman had not been seen all day. After missing shows and not posting on social media at all, fans began to worry that Waltman had gone missing. However, it has been confirmed now that Waltman has been found and is living alright, but he is dealing with some personal problems.
The star formerly known as X-Pac has had a history of abuse and addiction throughout his career. Waltman has admitted to having drug problems at various stages of his career. The likes of Chyna and Scott Hall have even referenced some stories involving Waltman’s addiction issues. While it’s not clear if drug addiction is the exact issue that X-Pac is facing, it’s worth noting his past history with the issue. Waltman has not yet publicly commented on the matter.
Kevin Undergaro, CEO of the Afterbuzz TV network where Waltman’s podcast is recorded, stated the following on Twitter: Everyone askin about r @TheTomorrowShow cohost & most imp r friend @TheRealXPac. We spoke. He’a dealing w-issues but IS ok. He’ll speak soon.
Waltman will likely speak out about his whereabouts and what he plans to do with his career. X-Pac had been going on a final wrestling tour around the world before going on hiatus from the industry. His match at International Pro Wrestling: UK that he missed, was set to be his final match ever in the United Kingdom. In any case, fans will be happy to know that Waltman is alive and has been found by friends.
