Next Tuesday’s SmackDown will feature the first ever singles match between Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura, where the winner will become the number one contender for Jinder Mahal’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
But, before they were able to be opponents, they were teammates, as they teamed up in the main event of this past Tuesday’s SmackDown against the team of Jinder Mahal and Rusev.
Nakamura ended up pinning Rusev, thus giving he and Orton the win. But, before the show was able to go off the air, Orton hit Nakamura with an RKO.
Shortly after the show went off the air, Nakamura responded to getting RKO’d outta nowhere during the closing moments of this week’s SmackDown Live.
