The British Fashion Council has announced that for the first time in its
fashion awards history, the event will honour the role and influence
creatives hold within the industry with the addition of a new award.
Over 1,500 key members of the fashion industry, including media, retailers,
creatives and experts were asked to vote for this year’s accolades. The
voters, who represented all the major fashion markets, nominated a series
of creative individuals they felt should be recognised for exceptional
achievements and excellence throughout the year.
The Creative Influencer nominees are the individuals behind the images, the
shows and the campaigns whose influence has shone this year, as this new
award is set to celebrate creative visions as team efforts, acknowledging
not only the big names behind the label but also the individuals who help
build that name.
