As we noted earlier this week, WWE Raw star Jeff Hardy underwent surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff, and will be sideline anywhere from 6-9 months.
WWE.com is now confirming Hardy’s surgery was a success, and is reporting the following:
“Following a successful surgery to repair a torn right rotator cuff that he sustained during the Six-Pack Challenge on the Sept. 18 edition of Raw, Jeff Hardy begins the long road back to active competition. View detailed photos of The Charismatic Enigma’s tough physical rehab.”
We also noted earlier this week that Hardy will likely need to undergo a second surgery, as he is also suffering from a torn labrum. It is unknown at this time whether or not the second surgery will further delay Hardy’s WWE return, but at this point it seems relatively certain he will miss WrestleMania 34.
The WWE.com story also included a photo gallery of Jeff Hardy following surgery, and you can view the photos by clicking the above link.
