One week after it was originally supposed to happen, it looks like 205 Live will make its move to Fridays starting tonight.
WWE has announced two matches for tonight’s 205 Live episode. Akira Tozawa will take on Brian Kendrick in a no disqualification match, and Drew Gulak & Tony Nese will face Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch.
The episode is set to air live on the WWE Network at 10 p.m. Eastern time.
Two matches had also been announced for last week’s 205 Live, but — at the last minute — WWE decided that there wouldn’t be a new episode that night. Tozawa vs. Kendrick and Nese vs. Humberto Carrillo were the matches that were supposed to take place on that show.
Kendrick and Tozawa’s partnership ended when Kendrick turned heel during an angle on 205 Live last month.
Gulak & Nese vs. Lorcan & Burch is a rematch from the September 24 episode of 205 Live. Lorcan & Burch won that match, with Nese taking the pin.
Gulak lost the Cruiserweight Championship to Lio Rush on NXT this Wednesday.
The T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada is hosting tonight’s SmackDown and 205 Live. The WWE Draft will begin as SmackDown presents its second episode on FOX.
