WWE has just signed two new stars to their roster. The company has been making a couple of signings over the past few months, the likes of former Impact Wrestling star Trevor Lee, Rachel Evers, and others are believed to be reporting to NXT imminently. Meanwhile, WALTER just started off his run in NXT UK this week, and Kay Lee Ray and Viper are said to be starting off on the brand soon as well. The company is not through just yet though as there will be two major competitors from Australia starting off their WWE careers very soon. Expect to see none other than notable independent wrestlers Jonah Rock and Elliot Sexton officially report for duty at the WWE Performance Center at some point in the very near future.
Accordong to Fox Sports Australia, both Jonah Rock and Elliot Sexton will be starting their WWE careers soon. Both men are said to be in the process of moving to Orlando, Florida right now, and they will be joining the PC later on this month. Jonah Rock is only thirty years but he has impressed fans with his powerful brawling wrestling style. He competed in PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles tournament last year, and his signing with WWE has been rumored for a couple of weeks now. Sexton wrestled with Rock in Melbourne City Wrestling where they called themselves SexRock. Sexton is also reportedly dating NXT Superstar Dakota Kai. Both men wrapped up their independent wrestling commitments last month and are in their way to NXT.
Fans were pleased to see Becky Lynch win the women’s Royal Rumble match last month, but WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was apparently not a fan of the match. According to Ringside News, McMahon took issue with a few different aspects of the match, mainly from the production side. Both McMahon and Kevin Dunn were said to be “extremely upset” with the camera work over the course of the Rumble match. The two of them also reportedly did not care for the length of the match, which may have gone a bit longer than originally intended. This may have resulted in the other matches on the card and the men’s Royal Rumble match to have some time cut. Nevertheless, Becky Lynch is still going to WrestleMania 35 to challenge Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship.
