AEW released a new edition of their weekly roster rankings today.
Chris Jericho is no longer ranked in the men’s division top five. Cody is ranked first, Kenny Omega is second, Darby Allin is third, Lance Archer is fourth, and Jake Hager is fifth.
As a stipulation of losing to Chris Jericho at Full Gear, Cody can’t challenge for the AEW World Championship — but he’s advanced to the semifinals of AEW’s TNT Championship tournament. He’ll face off with Allin on Dynamite next week to determine who makes the finals on their side of the bracket.
Archer vs. Dustin Rhodes is the other semifinal for the TNT Championship tournament. That match will also take place on Dynamite next week.
In the women’s division, Hikaru Shida, Kris Statlander, Yuka Sakazaki, Britt Baker, and Riho are ranked in the top five. The Dark Order, The Young Bucks, Best Friends, SCU, and The Lucha Bros are the top contenders in the tag team division.
