STONY BROOK, NY- The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame (LIMEHOF) is celebrating its 20th anniversary in style. A two-day event will concerts and holiday music on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.
Ernie Canadeo has been LIMEHOF chairman for a decade. He oversaw the organization’s building in November 2022.
“We’ve held galas every other year,” Canadeo told Patch. “We’d inducted about 130 Long Island bands, musicians, executives, and every induction ceremony has just been phenomenal.”
LIMEHOF considers Long Island for its actual length, allowing inductees from Brooklyn and Queens to join those from Nassau and Suffolk.

He estimates that 20,000 people visit LIMEHOF annually.
Now, LIMEHOF is taking the celebration up a notch with performances from Kerry Kearney, DMC with Johnny Juice, Stanton Anderson, American Idol Christian Padavan, along with comedians and surprise guests.
Admission is separate for each day’s events, but includes access to the new Billy Joel exhibit, “all of the videos in our theater and walking around the Hall of Fame,” Canadeo said.
