West Ham United are closing in on the signing of Eintracht Frankfurt striker Sebastien Haller, according to reports.
The Hammers have endured a terrible run of bad luck in recent years in their pursuit of a striker, with several reported targets moving elsewhere.
Most recently, Hammers fans were getting seriously excited at the prospect of seeing Maxi Gomez line up in the famous Claret and Blue strip.
But Celta Vigo instead chose to deal with fellow LaLiga side Valencia instead, with Gomez set to move to the Mestella.
However, it appears as though their hunt for a striker could be nearing an end.
According to L’Equipe, a €40million (£36m) deal for Haller has reached an advanced stage.
