The tickets for the first ever NXTUK Takeover event went on sale this morning and it’s fair to say that it was a huge success for the company.

The Takeover event, which will take place where the first UK Championship tournament was held, at the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool, England has sold out already, less than five hours after the event went on sale. ProWrestling.com’s Matthew Wilkinson will be live in attendance for the Takeover and will provide exclusive content to the sites Twitter page throughout the show on January 12th.

Joseph Conners Celebrates Anniversary

Speaking of the NXT UK brand, Joseph Conners tweeted about his 12-year anniversary in wrestling today stating it has been a great ride and that he can’t wait to see where the “NXT” year will take him.

Curt Hawkins Not Interested In Seth Rollins’ Open Challenge

Seth Rollins announced he will be having an open challenge for the Intercontinental Championship this evening, but one person who won’t be answering the call is Curt Hawkins.

Hawkins responded by saying it sounds cool but he has been losing a lot lately, so he will instead hold out for the Gran Metalik open challenge.
