During WrestleMania 35, Drew McIntyre suffered a loss to Roman Reigns. He has since picked up a few more losses, but fans of the “Scottish Psychopath” have no reason to fear. WWE officials are apparently still very high on McIntyre and want to continue pushing him. According to Cageside Seats, WWE has been protecting McIntyre by having him lose in tag team matches rather than singles matches lately on purpose. WWE wants to keep working on making McIntyre into a top heel on the Raw brand, and this is one way that the company has chosen to do this. McIntyre may have lost his singles match at WrestleMania this year, but don’t expect to see the former NXT Champion lose more one-on-one matches any time soon.
Andrade was moved over to Raw during the Superstar Shakeup, but he has since been moved back to SmackDown and is continuing his feud with Finn Balor. The Intercontinental Champion was able to defeat Andrade during SmackDown this past Tuesday night, but this rivalry is far from over. In a backstage interview which took place after their match was over, Balor challenged the former NXT Champion to “step up and get busy” if he truly wants to beat him. He later repeated the same line on Twitter. Andrade and Balor are both tied right now at one win over each other. It only makes sense for the two of them to have at least one more match with Balor’s title on the line to serve as the official tiebreaker for their feud.

WWE appears to have filed a new and interesting trademark for one of their wrestlers. This time around, it sounds like the trademark may be related to one of their NXT stars. According to Wrestling Inc., WWE has filed a trademark for the term “Garza Jr.,” which just so happens to be the name of one of their most recent signees. It was announced that the Lucha star signed with WWE earlier this month along with Shane Strickland and KUSHIDA. Garza Jr. is the cousin of 205 Live competitor Humberto Carrillo. Garza Jr. has yet to make his in-ring debut for WWE, but it appears that he now has a ring name for when that day comes. Expect to see Garza Jr. competing in an NXT ring in the very near future now.
