London – Spanish fast-fashion giant, Zara, is set to launch its debut
sportswear range next month as consumers demand for continues to surge.
The limited edition collection, named Zara Sport, consists of a series of
sportswear basics, such as sports tops, shorts and bras which carry the
retailer’s “characteristic style.” The range was developed around running
as well as wellness sports such as yoga and pilates, but also offers a
select range of swimwear and tennis wear.
Each item is made from high performance fabrics, in shades of black and
grey with a touch of neon yellow, to ensure breathability as well as body
temperature regulation during a workout. Zara Sport also offers a number of
accessories for numerous fitness activities, such as water bottles, yoga
mats and trainers. The collection is set to launch in selected stores
around the world on March 10, as well as online.
