Matt Short slammed an unbeaten ton and a half-century from Chris Lynn helped Adelaide Strikers complete the highest successful run chase in the history of BBL, as per TOI.
Short (100*) and Lynn (64) helped the Strikers chase their target of 230 to defeat Hobart Hurricanes (229/4) by 7 wickets.
Short slammed Faheem Ashraf for consecutive boundaries in the final over to reach his century and seal the win with three deliveries left.
Short was leading the side as Peter Siddle was out with a back injury and he led by example with 100 not out in 59 balls.
This is not the first record broken by the Strikers in this BBL season.
In December, they bundled out Sydney Thunder for a mere 15 which is a record-low total in a professional T20 game.
