The reason Becky Lynch's match vs. Zoey Stark on Raw this week almost didn't happen has been revealed.
Advertising for the Lynch vs. Stark match was pulled before this week's Raw but the match ended up taking place regardless. Lynch told media at the ESPYs last night that she wasn't medically cleared to compete until the day of the show on Monday due to having had a cyst removed recently.
"When I landed from London, I had to go to the ER and had to get a cyst removed. Then had to get that redone on Friday, but was in the ring, fine, ready to go by Monday," Lynch told USA Today at the ESPYs.

"Long story short, she's a savage. Nothing can keep her down," Rollins added.
Lynch was defeated by Zoey Stark on the show, thanks to some interference from Trish Stratus from ringside. It was just the second time Lynch has dropped a singles match on WWE programming this year, the first having been at Night of Champions against Stratus. Stark is now 4-0 in singles matches on the main roster.
Stratus vs. Lynch is currently planned for WWE SummerSlam on August 5 from Ford Field in Detroit.
