It looks like Flip Gordon will be back in time for the big G1 Supercard show after all.
After going down with a knee injury during his match with Tracy Williams at the ROH: Honor Reigns Supreme show on January 13th, Gordon has been on the sidelines recovering. On Tuesday, he took to social media to provide an update on his status.
The update, which he posted via his official Twitter page, reads as follows:
“UPDATE: I just saw the doctor, I passed all the tests, and I am officially CLEARED to WRESTLE!!!”
After issuing an open challenge at the recent ROH 17th Anniversary pay-per-view for a NYC Street Fight at the big ROH/NJPW co-promoted G1 Supercard event at Madison Square Garden in New York during WrestleMania 35 Weekend, fans chanted Gordon’s name.
The G1 Supercard show is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 6th at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. The show will air live via pay-per-view and on the HonorClub and FITE TV digital subscription streaming services.
