MEAD VALLEY, CA — A pedestrian killed by a hit-and-run driver in incorporated Perris was identified Tuesday by the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau.
Alfredo Aparicio, 37, of Perris was struck sometime between the hours of 3:15 a.m. and 7 a.m. Monday in the 22600 block of Cajalco Road, according to information from the coroner and the California Highway Patrol.

His lifeless body was discovered at 7:42 a.m. along the road, about .2 miles from Seaton Avenue. The area is just west of Interstate 215.
There was no word yet on a suspect vehicle description.
“Immediately following the crash, the driver fled the scene on Cajalco Road, without stopping to render aid to the victim,” the CHP reported.
