Former WWE star Naomi is reportedly making her debut for Impact Wrestling.
PWInsider and Fightful are reporting that Naomi, real name Trinity Fatu, is expected to appear for Impact Wrestling soon. PWInsider reported that she will make her debut for the company this Friday at Impact’s Spring Slugfest television tapings.
Earlier this week, Impact Wrestling on social media teased a ‘major surprise’ for their tapings, which take place Friday and Saturday in Chicago.
Naomi last wrestled for WWE back in May of last year. She and Sasha Banks (Mercedes Mone) walked out of a Raw event due to creative differences. As a result, they were suspended indefinitely from the company and were stripped of the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles. Mone has since signed with New Japan Pro Wrestling and Stardom, where she is a former IWGP Women’s Champion.
Last month, Naomi confirmed on Instagram that she is no longer under WWE contract. On March 20, she filed a trademark for the name “Trinity Starr”.
