Rangers manager Steven Gerrard was left outraged on the touchline after his defender Borna Barisic was the victim of a horror tackle at Hibs.
Gerrard’s men claimed a 3-0 victory at Easter Road but the main talking point will be the aftermath of Ryan Porteous’s shocking challenge on Barisic, which earned him a straight red card.
Gerrard immediately vented his fury at the opposite dugout, resulting in a clash between the two technical areas, while Barisic narrowly avoided a glass bottle which was thrown at him while he lay on the floor.
Hibernian assistant John Potter and Gers’ coach Tom Culshaw were both sent to the stands as a result of the brawl.

Rangers players were also forced to dodge various missiles which were thrown from supporters as they celebrated, with Scott Arfield pictured handing an object over to police.
“Bottles, lighters and all kind of objects,” Gerrard said.
“It’s not my business. It’s down to Hibs to deal with that.
“But we don’t want to see that in any stadium. We want players to be safe, want fans to be safe.
“I think both benches won’t be proud of seeing that back. That’s not what it’s all about. We need to control our emotions better.
“It was a straight red card. We were disappointed with Hibs trying to defend that. It’s a straight red. We could see that from a hundred metres away.”
