In order to practice the company ’ s quality concept of “ refinement and achievement quality, ” stimulate the enthusiasm of the majority of employees to participate in quality improvement and innovation activities, strengthen the learning and communication between various units, and promote the continuous development of QC activities in depth and breadth, on September 23, the “ Fourth QC Excellence Publication Competition of National Machinery and Fine Workers ” organized by the company ’ s Ministry of Science and Technology and Quality was successfully held in the report hall on the 11th floor of Headquarters, and the branch venue of Chengdu Institute of Technology was organized to observe.  Nearly 60 quality management and QC personnel from headquarters and subordinate enterprises participated in the on-site publishing competition, and a total of 23 people participated in the workshop.

Pre-competition review   

Before the competition, 10 judges of the evaluation group scored the results of the competition group according to the evaluation criteria, and obtained the material score.

Presentation contest opening

In the opening speech, Wang Zijun, the head of the company’s science and technology quality department, affirmed the achievements and progress of QC group activities in recent years, and pointed out that the QC group is a very important organizational form for quality improvement activities and the main channel for quality culture dissemination. The quality management personnel and the project team have built a platform for learning and communication.

With the warm applause, the QC results announcement contest officially entered the competition stage. This time, 13 outstanding achievements from Shaft Research Institute, Sanmo Institute, Baige Company, Industrial Research Institute and Public Technical Service Center participated in the competition. The reports from the players were fascinating, and expert comments and interactions were also brilliant.

Award selection   

In order to improve the efficiency of selection, the judges immediately scored and counted the scores after each achievement was published.  According to the evaluation criteria, the total score was obtained by combining the material score of the previous results report and the score of the on-site publication, and one first-class prize, two second-class prizes, three third-class prizes and six excellent prizes were selected for QC achievements.  At the same time, one advanced unit and one excellent promoter of QC activities in 2021 were selected.

In the summary and recognition stage, Wang Zijun summarized the overall situation of the review process, fully affirmed the achievements and highlights during QC activities, and praised the units that have made great progress in QC activities.  He hopes that all units will continue to carry out more QC projects around the quality improvement of core key products, so as to solve major quality problems in enterprises and carry out systematic quality improvement, create more achievements and achievements, and contribute to the high-quality development of the company.
