— Last night, some very old tweets by WWE superstars Tye Dillinger and Cedric Alexander where the two joked about rape (in separate instances and not with each other). Even though the tweets were from 2011 (Dillinger) and 2012 (Alexander), someone dug them up which caused Alexander to delete all his past tweets while Dillinger decided to face the criticism head on:
I have no excuse for my old tweets. I was a different person six years ago, and I’m beyond ashamed at what I considered “humor” . I’m so damn embarrassed and I’m truly sorry to anyone I’ve offended.

— Mauro Ranallo is likely to be the lead play-by-play man for the upcoming Mae Young Classic tournament which tapes next week at Full Sail University. Jim Ross, who called the action last year, already went on record to state that he doesn’t expect to be called back as he felt he didn’t do his best work last year. Lita, the other commentator from 2017, is also not expected back.
— On next week’s Smackdown, The New Day will battle The Bar to determine who will move on to face WWE Smackdown tag team champions – The Bludgeon Brothers – at SummerSlam. Also announced for the show is a segment where AJ Styles is expected to address the comments made by Samoa Joe last night. The two will be wrestling for the WWE title at SummerSlam.
