This week saw the inaugural Fashion Net Awards, a new initiative
recognizing those at the cutting edge of change in fashion this year.
Presented by global concierge club Quintessentially and supported by the
Academy of Art University, BLCK INK, GEN ART and Alice Bow, the winners
included: John Galliano at Maison Margiela for Designer of the Year; Sarah
Burton won Womenswear Designer of the Year; Conde Nast publication LOVE
received the Magazine of the Year Awards; Sophia Webster – Shoe Designer
of the Year; and Vivienne Westwood – the Lifetime Achievement Award.
